Reconfiguration Performance of the Urban Power Distribution System Based on the Genetic-Ant Colony Fusion Algorithm

This study aims to enhance the reliability of urban power grid system and decrease economic loss due network faults. Based on analysis traditional algorithms for restructuring distribution after faults, this proposes an upgraded genetic algorithm (GA) ant colony (ACA) combines these two overcome limitations local optimum GAs low convergence speed ACAs. Taking IEEE33-node as research object, loss, maximum recovery power-loss load, number switching operations objective function, impact different restoration reconfiguration was examined according MATLAB simulation optimal failure recovery. The experimental results revealed that compared with current algorithm, genetic-ant (GACA) has higher time efficiency solution accuracy can markedly improve in a short period. Overall, proposed GACA is efficient self-healing systems useful augmenting system.
